Visited Tiled Cafe inside the Leeds Library, and it certainly lives up to its name with stunning interiors and classic tiled decor that feels like stepping back in time. The ambiance is calm and refined, making it a lovely spot to relax or read. Prices are reasonable, and the menu offers a mix of seasonal and classic options. I ordered a chai latte – good flavour, though I would have enjoyed a bit more kick on the seasonal spices to really warm it up. But what really stood out was the maple and pecan pastry plait – absolutely delicious, with just the right balance of sweetness and crunch. Overall, it’s a gem of a cafe with beautiful surroundings, ideal for a cosy break or a peaceful spot to unwind in the heart of Leeds. Would recommend for anyone visiting the library or nearby!

This cafe was a beautiful and historical visit! If I lived here in Leeds, I would make it one of my usual haunts because the food and drinks are affordable and the staff members are so lovely with their service. The gentleman that served me also spoke to me about a little background of this historical site, about the tiles on the wall and other cool facts... was greatly appreciated

Such a lovely coffee shop in a historical building. Nice coffee and friendly staffs.

A Really nice place to come and have a coffee while you are in Library or visiting the art gallery because share space with both. Really welcome with the young people attending. I recommend. Update. Free Good WiFi. Update a plus Because today there a Piano player. Unfortunately the customer service needs to improve, people cleaning the tables and emptied us to hurry up while you are still on the table .

Quite nice place to work and stretch around the gallery, the pastries were good too including the coffee! Would love to go again

Hot food option is limited but coffee/tea and a cake is fine. The hall is beautiful and jist entering one feels to relax. Plenty of tables but it does get very busy nearing the lunch time period so get a table before you order during that period. The library attached is well worth a look too as the decor continues!

I was visiting the Leeds Art Gallery with my partner and we stopped by the Tiled Hall Cafe, a charming spot with beautifully tiled ceilings, walls, and floors. The coffee was excellent, and the brownie I had was truly delightful. Adding to the ambiance was a live piano performance, which played lovely melodies in the background. The cafe was lively and full of youngsters, making it a vibrant place to be. However, it was quite crowded and noisy, with many people chatting at once, making it a bit hard to fully relax Despite the noise, the unique setting and delicious treats made it a memorable and enjoyable experience. The Tiled Hall Cafe is a vibrant place, perfect for a quick coffee break amidst art exploration.
